My First Meeting
The first encounter I had of him was the last day of a huge music festival held at the edge of the city. He had run on stage, having overtaken the guards and screamed into the microphone. "I am King Cosmos. I am the primal rage within you, the instincts that control you. Take my hand and walk with me, I'll show you yourself, I'll set you free. Don't run from this life, it's the only worth living, I'll be at the summit, for those up for climbing." With this he ran and jumped off the stage just before the guards could get hold of him. Most people had just written it off as a drunken fool and cheered the man's daring act of rebellion. I saw at as something else though, an altogether different type of intoxication.
I Once Met a Man
I once met a man who had no equal. He had an answer to every question and never hesitated to action. Although he was so remarkable, no-one would have ever known. He never published a thing, and - like all - he died alone. He didn't need a soul, but we need him - so this is the memory, the glory, the glim.
